We are seeking outstanding physicians to join the Division of Emergency Medicine at our main San Diego campus and satellite location in Murrieta, CA.
Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego (RCHSD) is a 524-bed level 1 Trauma Center and serves as the region's primary and tertiary pediatric hospital and the clinical home of the UCSD Department of Pediatrics. RCHSD has been named by U.S. News & World Report to its 2023-2024 Best Children's Hospitals Honor Roll. The Division is committed to excelling in clinical care, teaching, research, quality improvement, community service, global health, and physician wellness.
The Division consists of 55 PEM attending physicians, 3 pediatricians, 16 Urgent Care pediatricians, and 5 allied health professionals providing the vast majority of pediatric emergency care for San Diego County. The main campus ED has a census of 103,000+ visits per year, with 16,000+ per year at our satellite location. Four pediatric urgent care centers have a combined census of ~42,000 visits per year.
