Position description

The Division of Infectious Diseases & Global Public Health in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence within its faculty, staff, and student body. We invite applications for Project Scientist, Research Scientist, and Specialist positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full rank.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Leading and/or contributing innovative and significant efforts to the project(s)
- Conducting studies and experiments
- Providing on-site teaching to students
- Participating in and/or presenting at scientific meetings
- Analyze and prepare presentations and reports summarizing data
- Writing and/or contributing to scientific reports, manuscripts, and grant proposals for submission and/or publication

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, MD/PhD, or PhD in Infectious Diseases or other related fields.
