Assistant/ Associate Professor - Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is seeking candidates for this position in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

UDST is the first national university specializing in applied, technical, and professional education in Qatar, offering various programs across multiple colleges.

Responsibilities: Faculty members promote high-quality applied learning, innovative research, and service. They develop, deliver, and evaluate courses in areas like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and more. Duties include evaluating student progress, liaising with industry, and contributing to accreditation processes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Education: PhD and Master's in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence or related field.
• For Assistant Professor: Minimum 3 years teaching experience, research publications, and industry experience. Preferred: Professional certifications and leadership in projects.
• For Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years teaching experience, distinguished research record, and supervision experience.
• Other Skills: Knowledge in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc., commitment to experiential learning, digital literacy, and ability to initiate research projects.
