Job Description
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economics and related areas of specialization.
- Teach a range of courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Development Economics, International Economics, Public Economics, and other specialized fields as required.
- Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance and sustain student success.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable, peer-reviewed journals indexed in recognized databases (e.g., Scopus).
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations where applicable.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course design, and academic program enhancement in alignment with university and college standards.
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university committees, initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Support and contribute to local and international accreditation processes.
- Promote critical thinking, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making among students to prepare them for careers in academia, government, financial institutions, and the private sector.
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment conducive to academic excellence.
- Engage in community outreach and professional activities that strengthen the relationship between the university and the broader economic and business community.
