  • Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful applicants are expected to:

  • Have an established record of producing high quality, scholarly research published in the top journals in Marketing (e.g., Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, Journal of Academy of Marketing Science).
  • Provide evidence of excellence in teaching empirical or quantitative marketing courses across the undergraduate, MBA, M.S., and Ph.D. levels.
  • If applicable, provide evidence of excellence in service activities within the department, college, university, and profession.

Salary is highly competitive and will depend upon qualifications.

  3. Research Portfolio/Plan - Outline your current scholarly engagement and describe how it aligns with the mission of the MSCM Division and Price College of Business.
  4. Evidence of Teaching Effectiveness - Such as recent student evaluations, peer reviews, teaching awards, sample syllabi, or summaries of instructional innovations.
  5. Record of Professional Service to the Discipline - Such as editorial board membership, conference leadership, or service in academic societies.
  6. Names and Contact Information for Three References - Include email addresses and phone numbers. Letters of recommendation may be requested at a later stage.

Description:

The Marketing & Supply Chain Management Division in the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Marketing.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field at the start of the appointment. Individuals with an established record of producing high-quality scholarly research in leading Marketing journals-such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science-are particularly encouraged to apply. Our faculty members are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in service activities. Faculty responsibilities include pursuing an active research program, demonstrating excellence in teaching empirical or quantitative marketing courses across undergraduate, MBA, M.S., and Ph.D. levels, supervising graduate students, and contributing to service activities within the department, college, university, and the broader academic profession.
