Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing - Bellarmine University
Job Description
The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences of Bellarmine University invites applications for a 12-month appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor. The starting date is anticipated as January 2026 for this position.
Responsibilities of this position include teaching didactic content in either the classroom or online setting, monitoring student progress, proctoring exams and/or evaluating course assignments, and submitting attendance and final course grades. Clinical and/or practicum teaching and interprofessional courses are also available. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Job Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in nursing (PhD or DNP) required
- RN License to practice nursing in Kentucky or ability to obtain such licensing if hired.
- Teaching experience preferred
Additional Information:
The Lansing School of Nursing and Health Science offers the following undergraduate nursing programs: 4-year traditional and 1-year accelerated second degree tracks. The graduate nursing programs include: MSN in nursing administration, nursing education Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Adult Gerontology, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner tracks and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Additionally, an interdisciplinary PhD in Health Professions Education is offered in a hybrid format and a master's degree in Health Sciences is offered online.
