Job Description:

The Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing for the Nurse Anesthesia program is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with preferred doctoral degree who contributes to the academic mission of Bellarmine University through teaching, service, and scholarship. This part-time, 12-month faculty role focuses on delivering high-quality didactic, simulation, and clinical instruction to nurse anesthesia students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.

Faculty in this role collaborate with program leadership and clinical partners to ensure excellence in anesthesia education and compliance with the standards of the Council on Accreditation (COA) of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. The position requires ongoing engagement in professional practice, curriculum development, student evaluation, and the support of a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

This is a part-time faculty appointment with rank (Assistant or Associate Professor) commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in nursing
  • RN License to practice nursing in Kentucky or ability to obtain such licensing if hired.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
