The Division of Hematology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a full-time Associate Professor/Professor to lead the classical hematology section, and is seeking a Board certified or board eligible hematologist for this purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Ambulatory-based patient care, caring for patients with hematologic pathologic conditions
• Partner with Hospital and School of Medicine partners to build a hematology program
• Supervising nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, fellows, residents, and medical students as needed
• Carrying out a research program
• Participating in and leading outreach activities, including outreach clinics outside the CU-Anschutz campus, educational events for patients and their families, camps for patients, work with patient advocacy groups, and other similar initiatives
