Assistant Coach, Beach Volleyball (Athletics)

The University of Arizona invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach, Women's Beach Volleyball. The position reports to the Head Coach of the Women's Beach Volleyball Program and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, the Big 12 conference, and NCAA.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Running effective team practice and small group skill sessions.
- Conducting video sessions and analyzing practice/match play.
- Supervising and directing student-managers.
- Assist with scheduling of practices and competitions.
- Assist with Academic Monitoring.
- Supervising team and individual practice.
- Arrange and manage team travel.
- Working with Event Management staff to prep facility for game days.
- Adhering to NCAA and Big 12 conference rules.
- Participate in the organization of community events and outreach.
- Assisting the head coach in recruiting high-level student-athletes on a regional level.
- Oversight of data in ARMS (departmental compliance program).
- Budget accountability.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and University of Arizona position related rules and compliance.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Competitive playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Experience contributing to academic and athletic success.
- Working knowledge of NCAA regulations.
