The College of Arts and Sciences Office of Undergraduate Curriculum, Policy, and Records (OUCPR) manages all aspects of the College's undergraduate curriculum, including academic programs (majors, minors, certificates, etc.), courses, academic policies, the College Bulletin, student records, special programs, and curricular information systems and reporting.
Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Serves as a team member in the Curriculum Compliance and Support division of the Office of Undergraduate Curriculum, Policy, and Records (OUCPR).
- Assists in the coordination of the undergraduate curriculum in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Ensures compliance with university, campus, and College curricular policies.
- Works with faculty and departmental staff in the development of new courses and programs and the implementation of changes to the curriculum.
- Coordinates work necessary to the maintenance of the College of Arts and Sciences Bulletin.
- Reviews proposals for new courses and changes to existing courses and curricula.
- Prepares materials for the Committee on Undergraduate Education.
- Provides training and support to College personnel with curricular responsibilities.
General Responsibilities
- Coordinates with educational leadership, faculty, and/or staff; designs curriculum for students, courses, degree programs, or schools.
- Consults with faculty to determine curricular needs and identify gaps.
- Reviews proposals to modify existing course curriculum and create new courses.
- Performs evaluation and assessment activities.
- Manages curriculum mapping process.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in related field; 2 years in related field.
Preferred: Master's degree.
