Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Leads programmatic development of Volunteer Engagement and Initiatives for the University in partnership with Leadership. Contributes to the success of the volunteer engagement team by regularly brainstorming, developing, and executing programmatic opportunities aimed at engaging executives, thought leaders and donors in support of the priorities and goals of the unit. 1.Leads and partners in the creation and execution of innovative volunteer engagement opportunities whichalign with advancement and university priorities. 2.Manages a portfolio of internal and external relationships serving as a point of contact for executivevolunteers and committees providing a high level of donor-first service. 3.Partners with Development colleagues to implement volunteer participation strategies as a direct componentof philanthropic giving for University Advancement. 4.Provides insight, tools and guidance coaching on best practices and protocols for successful volunteeropportunities and engagement with key collaborators. 5.Serves as a front-line ambassador and University representative for volunteers, partners, and collaboratorsfor assigned board. 6.Identifies opportunities and utilizes knowledge to support and enhance leadership volunteer recognition. 7.Performs other job-related duties as required. - Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience. - Department is willing to accept experience in lieu of education.
