Job Summary
This position is responsible for directing the university's undergraduate recruitment activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage, Revise, and Monitors Recruitment Initiatives to Meet Enrollment Goals of the Institution (40%) -
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive recruitment plan for the recruitment of new undergraduate students to the university.
- Develop and implement recruitment plan for the recruitment of new freshman students to the university.
- Edit website content and update print materials, in coordination with other appropriate areas.
- Consistently explore opportunities to improve communication and recruitment of new students.
- Collaborate with the Office of Marketing and Communications on new student communication and development of a marketing plan to support recruitment.
- Directs Recruitment Initiative for High School Community Partnerships and Manages Recruitment Territory (20%) -
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plan for collaborating with our high school centric community partnerships for freshman recruitment.
- Responsible for the design, development, and coordination of prospective student recruitment events for our high school centric community partnerships.
- Schedule and organize MGA campus visits for these partnerships.
- Manages, plans, and schedules recruitment events and activities for an assigned geographic area.
- Travels to recruitment events to provide information to guidance counselors, parents, and high school students.
- Supervising and Training of Recruitment Team (35%) -
- Interviews, hires, and trains recruiters.
- Manages recruiters as their direct supervisor.
- Sets goals and expectations of recruitment team.
- Performs a Variety of Related Duties (5%) -
- Serve as office-level technical expert for the CRM.
- Attend meetings.
- Perform related duties and/or special projects for the Director of Recruitment.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience directing recruitment/admission activities and personnel in a competitive admissions standards environment at a regionally accredited institution of higher education or closely related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issues by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicles or equipment operated.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Preferred Experience
- Salesforce administrator level experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with the University System of Georgia.
- Social media experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience managing staff and/or student workers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Possession of strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication, problem-solving, strong organizational, and office-level presentation skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing recruitment communication plans.
