Assists with game-day operations, including media relations,
game management and statistical services.
Trains and supervises student workers, task workers.

Additional Responsibilities
- Assists to develop and implement a comprehensive public
relations program. Promotes the athletic program, teams, and
contests.
- May assist in all athletic special events, fundraising,
promotions and other activities related to athletics.
- May help develop and execute all student-athlete leadership
initiatives and development efforts. Oversight of the
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and mentor programs.
- With the help of the Academic Advisors, oversee NCAA
CHAMPS/Life Skills program.
Minimum Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in sports journalism,
sports administration, public relations, or related field.
- Experience - Three years of related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be
considered.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in related field.
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Demonstrated strong writing and verbal skills.
- Web design and basic computer application experience.
Ability to:
- Ability to perform under deadlines.
- Be reliable to the organization.
- Present information clearly and concisely.
- Multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Communicate effectively with all segments of the campus
community.
- Ability to function under adverse and stressful
conditions.
Preferred Knowledge and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of statistical software (Genius, Stat Crew,
PrestoSports, etc.)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, InDesign,
Illustrator)
- Familiarity with live-streaming software (Production Truck,
Wirecast, etc.)
- Must possess commitment and capabilities to abide by NCAA by
laws and Lone Star Conference regulations.
License/Professional Certification - None

Salary: $43,909.08/annual
