Assistant Director, Territory Recruitment
Xavier University is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Director of Territory Recruitment to join our team! In this role, you'll be instrumental in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, acting as a primary point of contact and an ambassador for Xavier. We're looking for someone with a strong aptitude for sales—someone who can effectively communicate the value of our academic programs and campus experience, addressing concerns and inspiring confidence. Exceptional customer service skills are paramount, as you'll build relationships and provide personalized support to a diverse range of individuals. The position also requires travel for recruitment events, so a willingness to hit the road and connect with future students is essential. This position is available as an on-campus role for candidates within the Cincinnati region, or as a remote opportunity for qualified applicants located in neighboring cities, including Columbus, Indianapolis, and Louisville. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel throughout assigned territory.
- Build relationships with high school students, their families, and high school guidance staff.
- Represent Xavier University in a positive manner.
- Organize and attend recruitment activities in assigned territory, such as college fairs, high school visits, etc.
- Evaluate applications for admission.
- Utilize CRM (Slate) to effectively monitor student and territory performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent presentation, writing and analytical skills.
- Qualified candidates residing in the Greater Cincinnati area will serve in an on-campus capacity, while those located in neighboring regional areas may be eligible for a remote work arrangement.
