Job Summary:
The Assistant Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach supports both Ole Miss golf programs with a focus on recruiting, student-athlete development, and daily team operations.
Job Description:
This position assists with:
- Talent evaluation,
- Relationship building,
- Practice and competition preparation,
- And overall program support for both the men’s and women’s teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of recruiting, including identification, evaluation, communication, and relationship building with prospective student-athletes.
- Support both Men’s and Women’s Golf coaching staffs with daily operations, practice organization, and competition preparation.
- Help coordinate campus visits, unofficial and official recruiting experiences, and related logistics.
- Assist with player development, including technical instruction, competitive preparation, and individual growth.
- Maintain regular communication with coaching staffs, student-athletes, recruits, and support personnel.
- Contribute to video, scouting, and performance analysis as needed.
- Assist with travel, tournament logistics, and administrative tasks associated with both programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the men’s and women’s golf programs.
Substitution Statement: An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
