Assistant Golf Shop Manager
Position Purpose:
Assist Golf Operations Manager and Director of Golf in daily inside/outside clubhouse operations, including open and close the golf shop. Collect greens fees, make tee times, etc. Assist with inventory management/special ordering. Assist with golf events, tournaments, and leagues. This position will require weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Golf Management, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Golf Management.
- Ability to work with computer software technology (ie.Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Access).
- Experience with tee time reservations systems software (such as ClubCaddie).
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Degree in Golf Management or a related field.
- Prior experience managing personnel and evaluating performance.
- Ability to interact in a variety of social settings, support institutional strategic plan, and meet the business mission and goals.
- Previous experience at a golf course facility.
