Requirements
- Research Field: Educational sciences » Other
- Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
- Skills/Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Physical Education;
- Very good command of the Polish language;
- At least one year’s professional experience as an academic teacher;
- Qualifications equivalent to at least a judo instructor;
- Qualifications equivalent to at least a physical conditioning instructor in combat sports;
- Fitness instructor qualifications in strength training;
- Bodybuilding coach qualifications;
- Certificates attesting to additional qualifications;
- Proficiency in the use of computer software necessary for academic work;
- Documents must be submitted in Polish only.

Selection process
Applications submitted by candidates should include:
- an application form,
- a resume (CV),
- a job applicant questionnaire (available for download on the University’s website),
- a copy of the diploma(s) and other documents confirming the candidate’s qualifications and credentials,
- information on academic, teaching, and organizational achievements,
- a plan for teaching and organizational activities,
- a statement confirming compliance with the requirements referred to in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science,
- a statement of consent to the processing of personal data (available for download on the University’s website),
- a confidentiality clause for the job applicant (available for download on the University’s website),
- information from the National Criminal Register or other documents pursuant to Article 21 of the Act of May 13, 2016, on counteracting threats of sexual crime and the protection of minors (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2024, item 560),
- a personal questionnaire to obtain information from the Register of Sex Offenders (available for download on the University’s website).

The deadline for submitting applications is 4 September 2026.
Applications, along with the required documents, should be mailed to the university address with the notation “Dean’s Office,” delivered in person (room 24A or the Rector’s Office), or sent via email to: dziekan@awf.gda.pl
The competition is expected to be decided on 16 September 2026. The university plans to hire the successful candidate as a full-time faculty member, at the primary place of employment, under an employment contract. Expected start date: October 1, 2026.
The University reserves the right to cancel the competition for valid reasons, without providing a justification (University Statutes, Article 85, Section 4, Subparagraph e).
