in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Successful applicants will be expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program and to participate in teaching activities in the Department.
Teaching responsibilities may include bacterial genetics, bacterial physiology, or bacterial pathogenesis. We seek applicants studying any aspect of bacteriology including, but not limited to bacterial pathogenesis, bacterial gene regulation and stress responses, bacterial cell biology, bacterial behaviors, antimicrobial resistance, or how bacteria adapt to different environments, including in a eukaryotic host or complex polymicrobial community.
