Description: The Petroleum Engineering Department (CCoE) at the University of Houston (UH) is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level starting the 2026 academic year. We are seeking an outstanding faculty candidate with superior skills for pioneering research and effective teaching. We invite candidates specializing in research and teaching fundamentals focused on fluid flow and phase behavior with applications to subsurface energy related processes. We seek an individual with outstanding laboratory research experience and a demonstrated scholarship record. The Houston Metropolitan Area offers excellent quality of living and a vibrant arts and entertainment scene propelled by a growing economy. Houston is home to the Texas Medical Center and has a broad industrial base in Energy, Chemicals, Materials, Aeronautics, and Medical Technologies offering additional opportunities for collaborative research.
Qualifications: A PhD in petroleum engineering or a related discipline is required.
