DESCRIPTION (subject matter, expectations, notes):
Candidates may apply if they meet the requirements set out in the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and in accordance with the current Statute of the University of Kalisz.
I. Requirements for candidates (specification of statutory and legal requirements the candidate must meet):
- Academic title / academic degree / professional title:
- academic degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (doktor nauk medycznych);
- professional title of Master of Pharmacy (magister farmacji).
- Documented research record in the field or scientific discipline relevant to the candidate's primary research output (does not apply to teaching-only positions):
- significant publication record in the field of pharmacology in indexed/scored journals.
- Required teaching or professional experience (does not apply to research-only positions):
- demonstrated significant achievements in teaching;
- significant professional experience in the field of pharmacology;
- experience in securing research grants;
- engagement in research and development activities for the benefit of the University.
- Employment will be based on a full-time, fixed-term employment contract; the annual teaching workload is 240 hours (in the event of employment commencing after the start of the academic year, the teaching workload is calculated as 1/30 of the annual teaching quota assigned to the position for each week during which classes are held at the university).
- The Kalisz University (Uniwersytet Kaliski) must be the candidate's primary place of employment (as defined by law) following their hiring.
- An interview may be conducted.

III. Applications must be submitted to the Human Resources Department (Dział Kadr), 62-800 Kalisz, Plac W. Bogusławskiego 2, Room B102.
The deadline for the submission of documents is October 14, 2026, by 12:00 PM.
IV. Information regarding the outcome of the competition, including the rationale, will be published on the University's website no later than 14 days after the application deadline.
The University does not provide permanent housing but offers accommodation within its own hotel facilities.
The University reserves the right to conclude the competition without selecting a candidate, without providing a reason.
The competition result does not equate to employment; rather, it serves as a recommendation to the Rector. The final decision regarding employment rests with the Rector.
