Responsibilities include teaching the equivalent of twenty-four hours per year, including introductory Speech courses, additional teaching in Communication Theory and courses related to the Communication Studies major, service to the university, and professional development.

- Evidence of experience and excellence in teaching. (Student evaluations, letter of recommendation, sample syllabi and/or assignments, etc.)
- Responses to the School of Arts and Humanities essay prompts (below). Each essay should be approximately 250-500 words.
- Describe your personal faith and Christian experience. Including what you consider to be the most significant implications of your faith commitments. Explain how you see the relationship between a biblical perspective and your faith commitments and your scholarly discipline. Provide a statement of your teaching philosophy and how it relates to instruction at a Christ-centered university.
