Are you looking to inspire the next generation of engineers, and would you thrive in teaching apprentices in a university environment? 

The Department of Foundation Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Nottingham is looking for an Assistant Professor with specialist knowledge in Engineering and expertise to undertake delivery of one or more modules at undergraduate level from the fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics and advanced computational methods (including computational fluid dynamics for example) and related area, and to support electro-mechanical engineering design and project modules on the Electro-mechanical Engineering degree apprenticeship programme. The role is available as soon as practical to start teaching by January 2025.

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
