Assistant Professor - Associate Clinical Education Coordinator
Shenandoah University’s School of Health Professions is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor - Associate Clinical Education Coordinator. This is a part-time benefited position located in our Health Professions Building in Winchester, VA.
The primary responsibilities of this part time position include teaching and student advising in the didactic and clinical phases of the MSAT program and to serve as the Associate Clinical Education Coordinator.
The Associate Clinical Education Coordinator (ACEC) is responsible for assisting with the responsibilities of the Clinical Education Coordinator only with teaching a part-time load. This is a half-time Associate faculty 12-month position. The CEC and ACEC shall communicate regularly and candidly with each other, faculty, students, and preceptors and staff regarding clinical education issues.
Required Skills
- Be a certified athletic trainer by the BOC in good standing and is required to
- Have or be eligible for a Virginia licensure as an athletic trainer.
- A clinically related doctorate (DAT or DPT) or traditional doctorate (EdD, PhD, DHSc, ScD) is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
