Position Overview

The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University seeks applications for a clinical OR tenure track faculty position at the rank of assistant/associate/professor in the Division of Periodontology. Other duties include supporting the overall mission of the division, participating in university and college governance, contributing to the colleges continuing education programs, and practicing in the colleges affiliated intramural Dental Faculty Practice.

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree and a certificate of advanced education in periodontics from a CODA-accredited program. They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at dental.ohio.gov/Licensure/Dentist. Board certification by the American Board of Periodontology is highly desirable.

This faculty position may be offered as either a clinical track or a tenure track appointment. The track will be determined based on the applicants qualifications, experience, and how the role best aligns with the candidates professional background and career trajectory.

The College
