The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine invites qualified applications for part-time pre-clinical and clinical, volunteer and per-diem faculty positions. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in dental specialty practice. Board certification and prior teaching experience are preferred.
The School is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The campus is home to schools of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health and dental medicine, and multiple hospitals and affiliate institution located in the Denver metropolitan area near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The School also offers the following programs: General Practice Residency, and Periodontics and Orthodontics graduate programs.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $46.87 to $100.00 per hour.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications for Dental Specialty Faculty positions:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited US Dental School or a foreign equivalent.
- Certificate from a CODA-accredited Residency Program.
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Colorado and for a credentialed appointment within the School of Dental Medicine.
- Dependent upon the dental specialty, experience in treating complex dental cases, medically complex patients, and or patients requiring multidisciplinary care.
- Commitment to evidence-based teaching and practice.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion.

NOTE: THIS IS AN OPEN-CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT which may be used to make multiple hires in the school in the different dental specialties.
