Position Title: Assistant Professor in Business Law and Business Ethics

The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Business Law and Business Ethics. This is a full-time, 9-month position with a standard teaching load of six courses per academic year. The appointment will begin in August 15, 2026.
The responsibilities associated with this position include the following:
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Law, Business Ethics, and related areas.
- Engage in meaningful service activities to support the department, college, and university.
- Maintain an active research and professional development agenda, contributing to the academic and professional community.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in Business Law, Business Ethics, or closely related disciplines at the collegiate level.
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or terminal degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Competency in the application of data analytics and artificial intelligence in law and ethics.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate innovative teaching methods.
- Demonstrated research agenda in the area of Business Law.
