"Assistant Professor in Fashion and Business"

The appointee will be required to:

• Teach and contribute to curriculum development at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels and supervise research students;
• Initiate, lead, and participate in research, consultancy, and other scholarly activities leading to publications in high-impact journals and awards of research grants;
• Provide services to academic and departmental committees; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School or his/her delegates.

Applicants should have:

• A PhD degree in Fashion Marketing, Psychology, Accounting and Finance, Sustainability or other related disciplines in Fashion Business;
• Sound knowledge in university teaching and research in market research, supply chain, operations management, retail operations, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, innovation management, fashion entrepreneurship, or other related areas;
• Solid research and publication records in high-quality scholarly journals as well as promising potential in bidding for research grants and establishing significant externally funded research programs;
• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research; and
• Excellent communication skills and be able to use English as the medium of instruction.

Preference will be given to those with strong research orientation, a proven record of publishing in top scholarly journals and success in securing grants and research funding.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Appointment will only be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.
