"Assistant Professor in Finance"

The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the Finance area, commencing July 1, 2026. These positions are subject to budgetary approval.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Finance or related fields, obtained in the last 3 years, or ABD near completion (within one year). Candidates should have a strong record or promise in research and teaching in finance.

• Demonstrated research potential in Finance.
• Ability to publish in top-tier business journals and maintain a productive research agenda.
• Ability to effectively teach finance courses at undergraduate and graduate levels (MBA, MFin, and PhD).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate research relevance to a business audience.
