The Department of Clinical Sciences at Danderyd Hospital focuses on high-impact clinical and translational research. It is embedded in Danderyd Hospital, hosting medical students and patient care, with access to biobanking and specialized platforms.

Description of the subject area: We seek a junior researcher in translational immunology, focusing on mucosal IgA structure-function relationships for vaccine and therapeutic antibody design. The project uses a unique biobank and various assays.
Your mission: Build an academic profile by developing research independence, supporting the mucosal immunology group, and eventually establishing your own research group.
Eligibility requirements: A PhD in a relevant subject, at least two peer-reviewed publications, and completion of higher education pedagogical courses within two years.
Assessment criteria: Emphasis on scientific excellence, with meritorious qualities including research plan quality, international experience, background in mucosal immunology, antibody glycosylation, organoid culturing, and supervision skills.
