Assistant Professor in Paramedicine

Faculty

Paramedic Science sits within the School of Allied Health Professions, Midwifery & Social Work in the Faculty of Health and Social Care. This vibrant and dynamic school has a focus on excellent education and research informed practice. The paramedic science programme currently consists of an undergraduate Degree with a year in practice, making it unique. We work in close collaboration with partners in the NHS, private and voluntary sector to provide students with excellent practice based learning experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading key areas of the programme, which may include being the programme lead
  • Designing and implementing new curriculum from time to time
  • Leading teaching and practical sessions
  • Designing and delivering high quality teaching sessions

Qualifications/ experience:

A registered Paramedic with a minimum level 6 qualification

  • Experience working in leadership roles within higher education programmes
  • Advance HE Fellowship
