"Assistant Professor in Psychology"

Academic Rank: A full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor or higher if experience and qualifications warrant.

Salary & Benefits: Based on education and experience as per the Crandall University Faculty Handbook. (Approximate range $67,740 - $89,360). Includes a generous benefit and retirement package.

Qualifications: A doctorate in Psychology is required.

Particulars of the Position: To be considered for appointment candidates must be committed to teaching and pursuing scholarship from a Christian perspective and to the mission and the statement of faith of the university (which can be found on our website: www.crandallu.ca).

The successful candidate for this position will need to teach a variety of courses from introductory to senior level within his/her range of expertise.

Teaching Load: Six semester courses per year or equivalent.

Other Duties: In addition to teaching, research and service are obligatory components of this tenure-track position. The successful candidate will serve as academic advisor to students enrolled in the undergraduate psychology program and will be expected to function on at least one university committee annually. In addition, Faculty are encouraged to be involved within their respective discipline’s professional organizations or agencies.

They are also encouraged to find their role of service within a local church and their community.
