Assistant Professor - Internal Medicine (Heme/Onc BMT)

Evaluate and manage patients with acute leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and clonal hematopoiesis.

Participate in the divisional on-call schedule and multidisciplinary patient care.

Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical rotations, rounds, conferences, and case-based learning.

Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives in hematologic malignancies.

Participate in divisional and departmental meetings, conferences, and other academic activities.

Required Qualifications

Education: MD, DO, or equivalent.

The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Kansas and Missouri.
