REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES
- Master of Science degree in the field of biological sciences, forestry, environmental protection, nature protection, biotechnology, or related disciplines;
- Knowledge and publications in the field of biology and ecology of woody plants and forest ecosystems, consistent with the research carried out at the Department of Genetics and Environmental Interactions;
- Experience in laboratory and field studies;
- Scientific achievements including publications published in journals indexed by Web of Science with a total IF2-year at least 5, including at least two published papers as a leading author (first author);
- Experience as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in at least one scientific or research-development grant;
- Proficiency in English (speaking and writing);
- An additional advantage will be having an abroad internship or internship in a research institution in Poland;
- Readiness to participate in scientific expeditions and training (in Poland and abroad);
- Aptitude for scientific research and teaching as a research assistant;
- Submitting a declaration that after employment the employee agree to be included in the number of employees conducting scientific activity at the Institute of Dendrology PAS, in accordance with art. 265 paragraph 5 of the law on higher education and science;
- Submitting a declaration that after employment, the Institute of Dendrology PAS will be the place of primary employment.

- A copy of Master of Science degree diploma or its confirmed copy;
- Self-report (autoreferat) presenting the candidate’s scientific, teaching, and organizational activities, together with documentation confirming research achievements;
- Professional development plan for the next five years;
- Consent to the processing of personal data (Annex No. 2).
