Assistant Professor of Business Administration Strategy
The Department of Business Administration in the Williams School of Commerce, Economics & Politics at Washington and Lee University invites applications for a tenure track position as assistant professor in strategy. The appointment will begin July 1, 2027.
Faculty in this position will teach and develop courses in organizational-level strategy that support the Business Administration major. We seek candidates whose teaching and scholarship examine how organizations create, adapt, and sustain value in dynamic business environments.
Areas of particular interest include corporate strategy, technology strategy, mergers and acquisitions, strategic leadership, corporate governance, strategy implementation, strategic decision making under uncertainty, and related areas of organizational-level strategy.
The regular teaching load is five courses per year. New hires teach a 2-2 load in their first year.
The expected salary for this position is between $175,000 - $185,000.
