Assistant Professor of Construction Management
The Department of Technology at Illinois State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position in Construction Management at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 16, 2026.
- A successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the Construction Management program. The normal teaching load is nine credit hours per semester (3 courses).
- Develop a focused agenda of scholarship and grantsmanship appropriate to the discipline and disseminate through peer reviewed venues.
- Work closely with faculty and students to develop research skills.
- Work closely with faculty and staff to develop relationships with industry and external funding for program initiatives.
- Participate in the re-accreditation process and tracking student learning outcomes assessments.
