- Advise students across multiple programs regarding course
sequencing and requirements.
- Maintain student records and data, ensuring students are
meeting foundational course requirements, and support state and
national accreditation.
- Assist with enrollment and recruitment efforts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Education or a closely related field.
- A valid professional educator license, and the ability to be
licensed in Ohio within the first year of employment.
- Minimum 5 years’ related K-12 teaching experience while holding
a professional educator license.
- Excellent organizational, oral, written, and interpersonal
communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within
and among School of Education programs.
- An understanding of and commitment to Xavier University’s
Jesuit Catholic mission and identity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate teaching experience across multiple programs in
human development, educational foundations, or closely related
coursework.
- Experience with online or hybrid course delivery.
- Multiple credentials or licensures (TESOL, Special Education,
etc.)
Teaching Load, Non-Tenure-Track:
The teaching expectation is 24 credit hours annually for this
non-tenure-track faculty position.
