Assistant Professor of Nursing
Chatham University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Professor of Nursing to teach in our online RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP programs. This faculty position reports directly to the Nursing Program Director and provides an exciting opportunity to advance nursing education within a collaborative, student-centered environment.
As a key member of the faculty, the successful candidate will support the mission of Chatham University through high-quality instruction, active engagement in scholarly activities, and meaningful service to the university and the broader community. We seek a dedicated educator and practitioner who is committed to preparing the next generation of nursing professionals.
This position is not remote. On-campus presence is required.

- Teaching online courses in the RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP
Program.
- Grading student assignments and providing student feedback in a
timely manner.
- Advising assigned nursing students.
- Participating in professional, university, and departmental
service.
- Engaging in a program of scholarship.
- Fulfilling course liaison duties as assigned.
- Establishing and maintaining effective, timely, clear,
professional communication with students, faculty, and staff.
