"Assistant Professor Of Organizational Behavior (and Human Resource Management)"

The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship (MS&E) at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in organizational behavior and human resource management at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department’s research, teaching and service. Priority will be given to candidates with primary teaching and research expertise in the area of organizational behavior, such as theories of management and organizational behavior, management and leadership development, group dynamics and team processes, and conflict management. Ability to teach courses in the field of human resource management (e.g., strategic HRM, people analytics, and training and development) will be considered a plus. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and tax-free in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Free housing, paid utilities and other attractive benefits are provided.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

All candidates must have a PhD in Management from an AACSB-accredited university. An ABD near completion will be considered. Candidates must show great research potential, with promising working papers ideally on track to publication in top-tier management journals. Existing publications in top-tier management journals are a plus. A successful candidate should be willing and able to teach across the curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (MBA and PhD).
