"Assistant Professor of Teaching, Division of Industrial Data Science"

Lingnan University is one of the eight publicly funded institutions in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The Division of Industrial Data Science is looking for an experienced Assistant Professor of Teaching who will: (1) teach multiple subjects in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in data science areas such as industrial data sciences, blockchain, data sciences, and artificial intelligence; (2) work on promotions, admissions, and operations for these programs; and (3) contribute to other administrative duties as required.

General Requirements: Candidates should have (i) a doctoral degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, business, information systems, or artificial intelligence; (ii) at least 3 years’ teaching and program administrative experience, though less experience may be considered with strong project or industrial background; and (iii) good command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin).

Appointment: The conditions are competitive, with remuneration based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and allowances for eligible appointees. Appointment is typically on a fixed-term contract of up to three years.
