Function/Duties of Position

Participation in the education of advanced education and dental students,

establishment and maintenance of a program of scholarly activity. Specific responsibilities will focus on clinical and didactic teaching at

the graduate and predoctoral level, participating in dental research, participating in strategic planning activities, and providing direct

patient care.

Required Qualifications

D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a CODA accredited school or
equivalent
Completion of advanced education program in Periodontics from a CODA accredited program
Board Certification
in Periodontics
Ability to obtain Oregon Dental License and moderate sedation certification
Experience in teaching,
research, service, patient care, and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are preferred
BLS Certificate issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
