Assistant Professor, Public Administration/Nonprofit Management
The Auburn University Department of Political Science is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Public Administration/Nonprofit Management. The position begins August 16, 2027, with an optional start date of January 1, 2027.
Candidates must be able to teach courses in public administration and nonprofit management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, in both in-person and online formats. Candidates should have broad training in public administration and nonprofit management. We are seeking individuals who can contribute extensively to the MPA Program's Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Organizations and Community Governance, and to the Graduate Certificate in Global Public Service. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to teach courses in our NASPAA-accredited Master of Public Administration Program and our Ph. D. in Public Administration & Public Policy.
