Essential Job Duties:
We are seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in our Ph.D. program in Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychology, beginning Fall 2026. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of psychologists, contribute to cutting-edge research, and make a meaningful impact in both academia and the field. As a faculty member, you will engage with motivated students at the graduate and undergraduate levels while advancing the university's reputation for excellence in I-O Psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain an independent program of research, with the potential for external funding.
- Contribute to scholarly publications and present research at professional conferences.
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including those in our Ph.D. program in I-O Psychology.
- Provide service to the Department, College, University, and broader professional community.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research and professional development.

Minimum Experience/Education:
Ph.D. in Psychology or in relevant discipline.
Competitive candidates will have earned a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or closely related field no later than August 2026. We welcome applicants from all specialty areas within I-O Psychology.
Required Qualifications:
- Evidence of research excellence and potential to sustain a high-quality program of scholarship in I-O Psychology.
- Ability to teach and mentor effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Strong methodological and/or quantitative skills relevant to I-O Psychology.
- Strong communication skills for teaching and scholarly dissemination.
- Ability to collaborate with others to drive complex projects to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching interests in areas that complement existing offerings and contribute to the department's undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Experience using effective and engaging approaches to teaching and learning.
- Active participation in relevant professional activities or organizations, such as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
