Offer Description
Conduct scientific research in Mechanical Engineering, publish scientific papers, participate in R&D projects, operate advanced research equipment, conduct laboratory and project classes, perform experimental investigations and support organisational and scientific activities of the Department and Faculty.

- list of scientific publications;
- copies of diplomas required for the position;
- copies of other documents confirming academic achievements, professional qualifications and additional competencies, including a list of scientific achievements;
- personal questionnaire for the applicant (form attached);
- statement confirming English-language proficiency at the required level (if no language certificate or other proof is available);
- information on scientific and organisational activities and achievements as well as teaching experience,
- candidate's declaration that Lublin University of Technology will be his/her primary place of work (form enclosed),
- consent clause for processing of the candidate's personal data for the purpose of the recruitment process (RODO) (form enclosed),
- information from the National Criminal Register with respect to offences specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of Articles 189a and 207 of the Criminal Code and the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction of 29 July 2005, and in the case of persons having citizenship of a country other than the Republic of Poland, information from the criminal register of another country or statements referred to in Article 21(5) to (7) of the Act on Counteracting the Threat of Sexual Offences and the Protection of Minors of 13 May 2016 (instruction attached),
- a statement by the candidate that he/she has familiarised himself/herself with the Regulations on Reporting Violations of the Law at Lublin University of Technology (regulations and form attached).

Skills/Qualifications
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in operation of 3D scanner, laser vibrometers, testing machines, high-speed cameras, vibration exciter systems and heat-treatment furnace.
- Practical proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
- Practical proficiency in Siemens NX.
- Practical proficiency in ABAQUS.
- Practical proficiency in Siemens Solid Edge.
- Practical proficiency in Mathematica.
- Experience in experimental data processing, statistical analysis and signal analysis.
- Knowledge of laboratory classes conducted in the Department of Applied Mechanics.
- Documented scientific achievements: cumulative H-index minimum 2 and citations > 10.
Specific Requirements
- Ability to prepare international scientific publications.
- Participation in scientific research in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to support acquisition of external research funding.

Eligibility criteria
Eligible candidates must meet the conditions specified in Article 113 of the Act “Law on Higher Education and Science” of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and in the Statute of Lublin University of Technology.
