Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track, Astrophysics, Space or Plasma Physics, Department of Physics and Astronomy
Baylor University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the Assistant Professor level effective Fall 2026. We are searching for a collaborative faculty member with research experience in all areas of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Cosmology, Complex Plasma Physics, or Space Physics. The specific area of investigation is open, but Baylor's current Astronomy and Astrophysics research includes compact objects, transients, observational and theoretical cosmology, stellar evolution and populations, dusty plasmas, proto-planetary disks, and space and astrophysical plasmas.
