The Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb, Croatia announces two (2) vacancy positions:
- scientific-teaching position of Assistant Professor, in the Interdisciplinary scientific area, scientific fields of Philology Interdisciplinary Humanities, for a permanent time-period, full-time – 1 employee (m/f)
- scientific-teaching position of Assistant Professor, in the artistic area of Fine Arts, artistic field of Art Education (Pedagogy) for a permanent time-period, full-time – 1 employee (m/f)
Conditions:
Apart from general conditions, Candidates applying for this vacancy announcement are required to fulfil conditions as prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette 119/2022).
Applications for employment position must include:

- Curriculum vitae (signed)
- Certificate of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO) on the data recorded in the HZMO database, i.e. an electronic record
- Proof of the acquired academic degree of Doctor of Science in the appropriate area and field
- Certificate on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification for those applicants who have acquired a qualification abroad
- Description of scientific, teaching and professional activities with an appropriate list and separate works
- For foreign citizens, proof of knowledge of the Croatian language according to the Common European Framework of Reference (level C1).

An applicant who exercises the right of priority recruitment under special regulations must refer to this right in their application to this vacancy announcement and has priority over other applicants only under equal conditions. The applicants are informed that the employment contract refers to the work on all three location departments of the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb, i.e. in Zagreb, Cakovec and Petrinja. In case of employment a person might be obliged to work on any of the location departments of the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb or on more than one location.
