Dean of Faculty of Law and Administration announces, under the authority of the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, open competition for the position of full-time Assistant (research - didactic employee) in the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics.

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- Master’s degree in law (field of study: law);
- Research or organizational activity, primarily in the field of criminal procedure law, European criminal law, or international criminal law;
- Proficiency in Polish and English sufficient to prepare and independently conduct classes and prepare scholarly publications;
- Research interests in the fields of criminal procedural law, European criminal law, and international criminal law;
- Teaching and organizational skills, including:
- the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- the ability to independently develop course materials;
- a willingness to actively participate in the life of the Department.

- list of scientific and didactic achievements;
- documents confirming the required skills and qualifications;
- statement about fulfillment of requirements determined in article 113 act dated from July 20th 2018 dealing with Law on Higher Education,
- statement of consent for the processing of personal data necessary for the recruitment process;
- statement that in case of employment the University of Gdańsk will be the basic workplace for the candidate.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of German or French to the extent necessary to conduct scientific research;
- Teaching experience (seminars, tutoring, training, etc.) or practical experience (internships, apprenticeships, volunteer work at institutions applying criminal law, etc.), including in foreign languages (English, German, French);
- Completion of postgraduate studies, courses, or summer schools in the field of criminal law;
- Active participation in student research clubs, research teams, or grant-funded projects related to criminal law;
- Participation in academic conferences;
- Experience teaching courses at a university covering topics in criminal procedure law, European criminal law, or international criminal law.

In the event of deficiencies in the documents submitted or the need to obtain additional information about the candidate, the Committee will call on the candidates to complete them within a maximum of 7 days.
The decision will be made by Committee within 2 months from the deadline of submitting documents.

The University of Gdańsk, Faculty of Law and Administration reserves the right to close the competition without selecting the candidate.
