Assistant Teaching Professor-Entrepreneurship
The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for a ranked non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position from outstanding candidates with expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. This 9-month faculty position begins with the Fall 2026 semester.
- Candidates must demonstrate expertise in areas relating to international business and strategy and/or entrepreneurship.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate competencies critical for instructional effectiveness, the ability to address the needs of students from across a broad portfolio of programs and from different backgrounds, and the capacity to utilize different teaching modalities.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate capabilities relating to outreach to the business community and industry partners.
Qualifications
- MBA or related graduate degree (including a PhD or DBA) where the business school is accredited by AACSB or EQUIS with significant coursework in areas related to expected teaching assignments.
- For candidates with a MBA or MS degree, at least 5 years of professional experience in areas related to expected teaching assignments.
- Experience, professional engagement, research and publications must allow for candidate to meet AACSB faculty qualifications.
