Assistant Teaching Professor
The Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University (TRU Law) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, focusing on clinical instruction within a legal clinic setting and teaching in the core JD curriculum. The appointment is expected to commence on July 1, 2026.
Duties: This role involves a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and collegial governance, including clinical instruction and contributions to the intellectual life of the Faculty.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a JD (or equivalent), over 10 years of experience teaching or supervising in a law clinic, and experience teaching core JD curriculum courses. Salary range: TS-1 to TS-12 ($73,666 – $114,124 annually), with a potential market supplement of $20,000 annually.
