Design and implement training programs for vertical jumps,
multi-events, and pole vault, with the flexibility to support
additional event groups as needed.
Identify and recruit high-potential student-athletes on a
national and international scale.
Serve as a liaison between academic support staff and
student-athletes, ensuring strong academic performance and
retention.
Assist with team travel, operations, equipment management, and
budgeting.
Support the coordination of home meets, fundraising efforts,
and alumni engagement.
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes
growth, accountability, and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience, with significant
experience in recruiting and coaching jumps and multi-events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting nationally and
internationally across multiple event groups.
- Proven development of All-Americans, NCAA Regional Qualifiers,
and school record holders.
- USATF Level Two Certification (Throws) and Level One
Certification preferred.
- CPR/AED certification (current).
- Coaching at the collegiate level for jumps and
multi-events.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in
managing recruiting databases, travel planning, and athlete
development plans.
- Experience as a Director of Operations or similar
administrative leadership within a collegiate athletics
program.
- Passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes in both
their athletic and academic journeys.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse
backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity,
and inclusion in a university setting.
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices
and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Work is performed in a standard office environment and athletic
venues during standard business hours, as well as during
non-regular office hours to fulfill business needs. Occasional
travel required for competition and recruiting.
Valid driver's license required. Incumbent must also be able to
meet the University's fleet rules and be eligible to drive for
University business. The University and its insurance carrier
reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving
record.
Hiring Range: $59,488 - $60,000 per year. We consider
factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well
as market and organizational considerations when extending an
offer.
