The College of Law is a regional leader in legal education, offering a Bachelor of Law, a Master of Public Law, a Master of Private Law, and a Master of Laws (MLL) in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence, and a PhD in Law. Our programs are CAA and WASC-accredited. Our curriculum, primarily in Arabic with selected courses in English, reflects our commitment to academic excellence and cultural diversity. 1. Minimum Years of Experience Required/ Nature of Relevant Experience Required
a) Assistant and Associate Professor
- Have a doctoral or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Have demonstrated significant scholarly accomplishments appropriate to his/her discipline.
- He/she should have had at least eight years of full-time teaching and research experience (with key research publications) to be considered for Associate Professor.
- Have demonstrated excellent teaching ability and shown continuing active engagement with students in and outside the classroom.
2. Special Skills and abilities
- Communication/Teaching Skills, Presentation Skills, Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Have a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one under the UK HEA Fellowship Scheme.
- Demonstrated commitment to publishing Scopus publications.
- Clear engagement with research networks (evidence-based).
- Demonstration of being a ‘good University citizen’
